Gabriela Cortes

Gabriela Cortes is an associate with Lapin & Leichtling, LLP. Her areas of practice include complex litigation, insurance coverage, and mortgage banking litigation. She attended Jones College, receiving a B.S. in 2000. Cortes graduated in 2007 with a J.D., cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University Law School.

Cortes was admitted to practice law in Florida in 2008, and is a member of the Florida Bar. She was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador and is fluent in Spanish. Cortes is a recipient of the Dean's Scholarship, Winter 2005; and from 2005-2006 was a member of the Nova Southeastern University - Shepard Broad Law Center Law Review, and was the Subscriptions Editor of the Review from 2006-2007.
