Founder & Partner
Jeffrey S. Lapin leverages more than three decades of litigation experience to help clients resolve complex legal disputes efficiently and effectively. He frequently represents clients in claims against insurance agents involving negligence or breach of fiduciary duty, as well as in insurance coverage disputes and bad faith claims.
In addition to his insurance law practice, Jeffrey has successfully handled a wide range of other legal matters, including business and commercial disputes, construction and design defect claims, consumer protection issues, employment conflicts, fraud, and mortgage foreclosures. His extensive experience spans all phases of litigation, from negotiated settlements to trials and appeals, where he has consistently secured favorable outcomes in state and federal courts.
Before founding his boutique litigation firm in Coral Gables in 2005, Jeffrey was an equity partner at a national law firm. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, where he served on the University of Miami Law Review. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Michigan.
