Jonathan R. Rosenn
Partner
Jonathan R. Rosenn is an accomplished litigator with more than 25 years of experience handling complex cases at both the trial and appellate levels in state and federal courts. He has a particular affinity for appellate advocacy, which allows him to craft higher-order legal arguments and influence the evolving landscape of Florida law.
Jonathan was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and is fluent in Portuguese. Before joining Lapin & Leichtling, LLP, in 2007, he practiced with a prominent Brazilian law firm in São Paulo, where he advised on privatizations and international loan agreements. Earlier in his career, he contributed to the Engle tobacco class action litigation, one of the most significant mass tort cases in Florida history.
Jonathan earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, graduating Magna cum laude. During law school, he served on the University of Miami Law Review. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oberlin College.
