Justin G. Prociv

Partner

Justin G. Prociv has spent more than two decades litigating business and complex commercial disputes in mediations, arbitrations, lawsuits, trials, appeals, and other proceedings in state and federal courts in both New York and Florida. He represents a wide range of clients, including corporations, financial institutions, closely held businesses, and high-net-worth individuals.

Justin takes a practical approach to dispute resolution, knowing that sometimes litigation is not the best option. In those cases, he has successfully resolved client matters without setting foot in a courtroom. When litigation is necessary, Justin excels in securing successful outcomes before and after trial.

Justin earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from the University of Virginia and a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law, where he served on the Inter-American Law Review. He has been published in both mathematical and legal journals.

Justin has also volunteered annually since 2014, coaching the University of Miami School of Law’s moot court team at Fordham University’s Irving R. Kaufman Memorial Securities Law Moot Court Competition. Justin's teams won championships in 2014, 2016, and 2024, arguing their final rounds before the United States Supreme Court, Circuit Court, and District Court justices and judges. His teams also reached the quarterfinals in 2015, 2019, and 2022.

Outside of his legal work, Justin is a self-taught guitarist and has performed at various venues throughout South Florida.
